Forsake Pride and Rely on the Lord
(교만을 버리고 여호와를 의지하라)
The name of the LORD is a strong tower； the righteous run to it and are safe.
(여호와의 이름은 의지할 강한 망루이니, 의로운 자들이 거기로 달려가 안전하리라.)
The wealth of the rich is their fortified city； they imagine it an unscalable wall.
(부자들의 재산은 그들의 요새화된 성읍이니, 그들은 그들의 재산을 오늘 수 없는 성벽으로 여기느니라.)
Before his downfall a man's heart is proud, but humility comes before honor.
(몰락하기 전에 사람의 마음은 교만하나, 겸손은 영광 전에 오느니라.)
He who answers before listening - that is his folly and his shame.
(듣기 전에 대답하는 자 - 그것이 그의 어리석음이며 그의 부끄러움이 되느니라.)
A man's spirit sustains him in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear?
(사람의 정신은 아플 때에 그를 견디게 하지만, 의깨진 정신은 누가 이를 감당할 수 있겠느냐?)
The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge； the ears of the wise seek it out.
(분별력있는 자의 마음은 지식을 얻고, 지혜로운 자의 귀는 지식을 추구하느니라.)
