Carry Out Righteousness and Justice
(의와 공평을 행하라)
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD； he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.
(왕의 마음은 여호와의 손에 있으니, 그는 물줄기처럼 왕의 마음을 그가 기뻐하시는 어디로든 향하게 정하시느니라.)
All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.
(사람의 모든 길이 그에게는 옳게 보이나, 여호와는 그 마음을 저울질 하시느니라.)
To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
(옳고 정의로운 것을 하는 것이 희생제물보다 여호와께서 더 받으실 만한 것이니라.)
Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin!
(오만한 눈과 교만한 마음과 악인의 빛나는 것은 죄이니라!)
The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.
(성급함이 가난으로 이끄는 것 만큼 확실하게 부지런한 사람의 계획들은 이윤으로 이끄느니라.)
A fortune made by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare.
(거짓말하는 혀로 만들어진 부는 순간의 수증기이며 치명적인 덫이니라.)
The violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right.
(사악한 자들의 폭력은 그들을 뽑아 내 버리나니, 그들이 옳은 것 하기를 거절하기 때문이니라.)
The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright.
(죄인의 길은 기만적이나, 정직한 자의 행동은 옯바르니라.)
Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.
(다투기 좋아하는 아내와 함께 사는 것보다 지붕 모퉁이 방에서 사는 것이 더 나으니라.)
The wicked man craves evil； his neighbor gets no mercy from him.
(사악한 사람은 악을 탐하나니, 그의 이웃이 그에게 자비를 얻지 못하느니라.)
When a mocker is punished, the simple gain wisdom； when a wise man is instructed, he gets knowledge.
(조롱하는 자가 처벌을 받을 때, 단순한 자가 지혜를 얻고, 지혜로운 사람이 훈계를 받을 때, 그는 지식을 얻느니라.)
The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin.
(의로운 자께서 사악한 자의 집을 주목하시고 악한 자를 파멸로 이끄시느니라.)
