Take the Way We should go
(마땅이 행할 길로 행하자)
Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
(아이에게 그가 가야만 할 길을 훈육하라, 그러면 그가 늙었을 때도 그 길에서 돌어서지 않을 것이니라.)
The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
(부자들은 가난한 자들을 다스리며, 빌리는 자는 빌려주는 자에게 하인이 되리라.)
He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.
(악을 뿌리는 자는 역경을 거둘 것이고, 그의 분노의 막대기는 파괴되어질 것이니라.)
A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.
(관대한 사람이 바로 복을 받을 것이니, 그는 가난한 사람과 그의 음식을 나누기 때문이니라.)
Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife； quarrels and insults are ended.
(조롱자를 몰아내어라, 그러면 분쟁이 떠날 것이며, 또한 말싸움과 모욕이 끝날 것이라.
He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.
(순수한 마음을 사랑하는 사람과 그의 말이 품위있는 사람은 왕을 그의 친구로 가지게 될 것이니라.)
The eyes of the LORD keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.
(여호와의 눈은 지식을 지켜 돌보시나, 그는 진실치 못한 자의 말을 좌절시키시느니라.)
The sluggard says, "There is a lion outside!" or, "I will be murdered in the streets!"
(게으른 자는 "밖에 사자가 있다!" 혹은 "나는 길에서 살해를 당할 것이라!"고 말하느니라.
The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit； he who is under the LORD's wrath will fall into it.
(간통하는 여인의 입은 깊은 웅덩이니, 여호와의 진노 하에 있는 자는 그 곳에 떨어지게 될 것이라.)
Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far from him.
(어리석음은 어린 아이의 마음 속에 묶여 있으나, 훈육의 막대기는 그것을 그의 마음에서 멀리 몰아낼 것이니라.)
He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich - both come to poverty.
(그의 부를 증가시키기 위해 가난한 자를 억압하는 자와 부자들에게 선물을 하는 자, 이 둘은 가난하게 될 것이라.)
