Do the Public Justice
(공의를 행하라)
A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed - without remedy.
(많은 꾸지람 이후에도 목이 뻣뻣한 자는 갑자기 멸망할 것이나, 회복할 수 없느니라.)
When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice； when the wicked rule, the people groan.
(의인들이 번성할 때, 백성들이 기뻐하나, 악한 자가 통치하면, 백성이 신음하느니라.)
A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.
(지혜를 사랑하는 사람은 그의 아버지에게 기쁨을 가져오나, 창녀와 사귀는 자는 그의 부를 낭비하느니라.)
By justice a king gives a country stability, but one who is greedy for bribes tears it down.
(공의로 왕은 나라를 안정되게 하나, 뇌물에 욕심을 내는 자는 나라를 파괴하느니라.)
Whoever flatters his neighbor is spreading a net for his feet.
(그의 이웃에게 아첨하는 자는 누구라도 그의 발에 그물을 치고 있는 중이니라.)
An evil man is snared by his own sin, but a righteous one can sing and be glad.
(악한 자는 그 자신의 죄로 인해 덫에 걸려도 의로운 사람은 노래하고 기뻐하느니라.)
The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
(의인은 가난한 자들을 위한 공의에 신경을 쓰나, 악한 자들은 그런 관심이 없느니라.)
Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger.
(조롱꾼은 도시를 혼란케하나, 지혜로운 사람은 화를 물리치느니라.)
If a wise man goes to court with a fool, the fool rages and scoffs, and there is no peace.
(지혜로운 자가 어리석은 자와 법정에서 다투면, 그 어리석은 자는 분노하고 조롱하여, 평화가 없느니라.)
Bloodthirsty men hate a man of integrity and seek to kill the upright.
(피에 굶주린 자들은 고결한 사람을 미워하고 의로운 자를 죽일려고 궁리하느니라.)
A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.
(어리석은 자는 그의 화를 완전히 표출하나, 지혜로운 사람은 자신을 통제하느니라.)
If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked.
(만약 통치지가 거짓말을 들어주면, 모든 관리들이 사악해지느니라.)
The poor man and the oppressor have this in common: The LORD gives sight to the eyes of both.
(가난한 자과 억압하는 자는 이것을 공통으로 가지고 있느니, 즉, 바로 여호와께서 둘의 눈에 같이 빛을 주시느니라.)
If a king judges the poor with fairness, his throne will always be secure.
(만약 왕이 공평하게 가난한 자들을 판단하면, 그의 왕좌는 항상 안전할 것이니라.)
