The glory of God and the Blessings Received By People
(주의 영광과 사람이 받는 축복들)
O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
(오 주여, 나의 주여, 당신의 이름이 온 땅에서 얼마나 위엄이 있으신지요!)
You have set your glory above the heavens.
(당신은 당신의 영광을 하늘 위에 두셨나이다.)
From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
(당신의 원수들로 인해 아이들과 유아들의 입술로부터 찬양하게 세우셨으니, 즉 적들과 복수자들을 침묵하게 하기 위함이니이다.)
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
(내가 당신의 하늘과, 당신 손가락의 일과 당신께서 설치하신 달과 별들을 고려해 볼 때, 사람이 무엇이길래 당신께서 그를 생각하시며, 사람의 아들이 무엇이길래 당신께서 그를 돌보시나이까?)
You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.
(당신은 그를 천사들보다 약간 낮게 하시고 그를 영광과 존귀로 왕관을 씌우셨나이다.)
You made him ruler over the works of your hands； you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.
(당신은 그가 당신의 손으로 하신 일들을 다스리게 하셨고, 당신은 모든 것을 그의 발 아래 두셨으니, 즉 모든 양떼와 소떼와 들판의 짐승들과, 공중의 새들과 그리고 바다의 물고기들, 즉 바다의 길을 헤엄치는 모든 것을 다스리게 하셨나이다.)
Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
