Please Hear My Prayer
(내 기도를 들으소서)

Hear, O Lord, my righteous plea； listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer - it does not rise from deceitful lips.
(오 주여, 나의 의로운 간청을 들으소서, 나의 외침을 들어 주소서. 나의 기도에 귀를 기울이소서, 이는 이 기도가 거짓된 입술로부터 나오지 않기 때문이니이다.)

May my vindication come from you； may your eyes see what is right.
(나의 결백함이 주님으로부터 나오게 하시고, 주의 눈이 옳은 것을 보게 하소서.)

Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test me, you will find nothing； I have resolved that my mouth will not sin.
(주께서 나의 마음을 감찰하시고 밤에 나를 검사하실 지라도, 주께서 나를 시험하실 지라도, 당신은 아무 것도 찾지 못하실 것이니, 내가 나의 입술로 죄를 짓지 않기로 결심하였기 때문이니이다.)

As for the deeds of men - by the word of your lips I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
(사람의 행위에 관하여, 당신의 입술의 말로 저는 폭력적인 자들의 방식으로부터 나를 지키었나이다.)

My steps have held to your paths； my feet have not slipped.
(내 걸음이 당신의 길을 지켰고, 내 발은 미끄러지지 아니하였나이다.)

I call on you, O God, for you will answer me； give ear to me and hear my prayer.
(내가 당신께 구하나이다, 오 하나님, 이는 당신이 제게 대답하실 것이기 때문이니, 내게 귀를 기울이시고 내 기도를 들으소서.)

Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.
(당신의 위대한 사랑의 경이로움 보이소서, 적으로부터 당신에게 피하는 자를 오른손으로 구하시는 분이시여.)

Keep me as the apple of your eye； hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.
(나를 당신의 눈동자처럼 지키시며, 나를 공격하려는 악한 자들, 곧 나를 둘러싼 극한 적들로부터 당신의 날개의 그늘로 나를 숨기소서.)

They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance.
(그들은 그들의 냉담한 마음을 숨기고, 그들의 입술은 오만하게 말하나이다.)

They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.
(그들은 나를 찾아내어, 경계하는 눈으로 이제 나를 둘러싸서 나를 땅에 던지려 하나이다.)

They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a great lion crouching in cover.
(그들은 먹이를 찾는 배고픈 사자와 같으며, 숨어 엎드려있는 거대한 사자와 같나이다.)

Rise up, O Lord, confront them, bring them down； rescue me from the wicked by your sword.
(일어나소서, 오 주여, 그들을 대적하시고, 그들을 넘어뜨리시고, 당신의 검으로 악한 자들로부터 나를 구하소서.)

Lord, by your hand save me from such men, from men of this world whose reward is in this life.
(주여, 당신의 손으로 그런 자들로부터, 즉 자기 보상이 이 생에 있는 이 세상의 자들로부터 나를 구하소서.)

You still the hunger of those you cherish； their sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.
(당신은 당신이 소중히 하는 사람들의 배고픔을 달래주시니, 그들의 아들들은 풍부하게 먹을 것이며, 그들은 그들의 아이들을 위해 부를 쌓을 것이니이다.)

And I - in righteousness I shall see your face； when I awake, I shall be satisfied with seeing your likeness.
(그러므로 의로운 중에 나는 당신의 얼굴을 볼 것이니, 내가 깰 때에 내가 당신의 형상을 봄으로 만족할 것이니이다.)
