Prayer Asking for Protection and Guidance
(보호와 인도를 구하는 기도)
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul； in you I trust, O my God.
(오 주여, 당신께, 내가 나의 영혼을 듭니다. 오 나의 하나님 당신을 내가 신뢰하나이다.)
Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.
(내가 수치를 당하게 하지 마시고, 내 원수들이 나를 이겨 승리하게 하지 마소서.)
No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse.
(당신께 그의 희망이 있는 누구도 결코 수치를 당하지 않으나, 이유 없이 배신하는 이들은 수치를 당할 것이라.)
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths； guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long.
(내게 당신의 길을 보여 주소서, 오 주여, 내게 당신의 길을 가르쳐 주시고, 나를 당신의 진리로 인도하시고 가르치소서, 왜냐하면 당신은 나의 구원자 하나님이시며, 나의 소망이 종일 당신께 있기 때문이니이다.)
Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.
(오 주여, 당신을 크신 자비와 사랑을 기억하소서, 이는 그 자비와 사랑이 옛적부터 있었기 때문이니이다.)
Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways； according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD.
(나의 젊은 시절의 죄와 나의 반항적인 방식들을 기억하지 마시고, 당신의 사랑을 따라 나를 기억하소서, 이는 당신이 선하시기 때문이니이다, 오 주여.)
Good and upright is the LORD； therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
(주는 선하고 정직하시니, 그러므로 그가 죄인들을 그의 방식으로 가르치시리라.)
He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
(그가 옳은 것으로 겸손한 자들을 인도하시며 그들에게 그의 길을 가르치시리라.)
All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.
(주의 모든 방식들은 그의 언약의 요구들을 지키는 자들에게 사랑스럽고 진실하도다.)
For the sake of your name, O LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
(오 주여, 당신의 이름을 위하여, 비록 크다 할 지라도, 나의 죄를 용서하소서.)
Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.
(그러면, 누가 주를 두려워하는 사람이니이까? 주께서 그를 위해 선택된 길로 그를 가르치실 것이라.
He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.
(그가 번창하며 그의 날들을 보낼 것이며, 그의 자손들이 땅을 상속 받을 것이라.)
The LORD confides in those who fear him； he makes his covenant known to them.
(주께서 그를 두려워하는 자들에게 비밀을 말하시리니, 그는 그의 언약이 그들에게 알려지게 할 것이라.)
My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
(나의 눈은 언제나 주만 바라 볼 것이니, 이는 오직 주만이 나의 발을 올무로부터 벗어나게 하실 것이기 때문이라.)
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
(내게로 돌아서시고 내게 긍휼을 베푸소서, 이는 내가 외롭고 고통을 받기 때문이니이다.)
The troubles of my heart have multiplied； free me from my anguish.
(내 마음의 근심들이 증가되었사오니, 나를 나의 괴로움에서 자유롭게 하소서.)
Look upon my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.
(나의 고통과 괴로움을 보시고 나의 모든 죄를 제거하소서.)
See how my enemies have increased and how fiercely they hate me!
(얼마나 나의 원수들이 증가했으며 얼마나 맹렬하게 나를 미워하는 지를 보소서!)
Guard my life and rescue me； let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
(나의 생명을 지키시고 나를 구원하소서, 내가 수치를 당하게 마소서, 이는 내가 당신께 피하기 때문이니이다.)
May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you.
(온전함과 정직함이 나를 보호하게 하소서, 이는 나의 소망이 주께 있기 때문이니이다.)
Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
(오 하나님, 모든 그들의 고난에서 이스라엘을 구속하소서!)
