Confession of Sins for Forgiveness
(죄 씻음을 위해 죄를 고백함)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love； according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
(하나님이여, 주의 변함없는 사랑에 따라 나를 긍휼히 여기소서. 주의 크신 긍휼에 따라 내 죄과를 지워 주소서.)

Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
(내 모든 죄악을 씻어 주시고 내 죄에서 나를 깨끗하게 하소서.)

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
(이는 내가 내 죄과를 알고 있으며 내 죄가 항상 내 앞에 있음이니이다.)

Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge.
(내가 주께만, 오직 주께만 죄를 범하여 주의 목전에 악을 행하였사오니 주께서 말씀하실 때에 의로우시다 하고 판단하실 때에 정당하시다 하리이다.)

Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
(내가 죄악 중에서 출생하였으며 어머니가 죄 중에서 나를 잉태하였나이다.)

Surely you desire truth in the inner parts； you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
(주께서는 중심에 진실함을 원하시며 내 속사람에게 지혜를 알게 하시나이다.)

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I shall be clean； wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
(우슬초로 나를 정결하게 하소서 그리하면 내가 정결하리이다. 나를 씻기소서 내가 눈보다 희어지리이다.)

Let me hear joy and gladness； let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
(즐겁고 기쁜 소리를 들려 주시사 주께서 꺾으신 뼈들이 즐거워하게 하소서.)

Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.
(내 죄에서 주의 얼굴을 돌이키시고 내 모든 죄악을 지워 주소서.)

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
(하나님이여, 내 속에 정결한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서.)

Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
(나를 주 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시며 주의 성령을 내게서 거두지 마소서.)

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
(주의 구원의 즐거움을 내게 회복시키시고 자원하는 심령을 주사 나를 붙드소서.)

Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you.
(그리하면 내가 범죄자에게 주의 도를 가르치리니 죄인들이 주께로 돌아오리이다.)

Save me from bloodguilt, O God, the God who saves me, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
(하나님이여, 나를 구원하시는 하나님이여, 피 흘린 죄에서 나를 건지소서. 그리하면 내 혀가 주의 의를 높이 노래하리이다.)

Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.
(주여, 내 입술을 열어 주소서. 내 입이 주를 찬송하여 전파하리이다.)

You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it； you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
(주는 제사를 기뻐하지 아니하시나니 번제를 즐겨하지도 아니하시나이다.)

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit； a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
(하나님께서 구하시는 제사는 상한 심령이라 하나님이여, 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시하지 아니하시리이다.)

In your good pleasure make Zion prosper； build up the walls of Jerusalem.
(주의 은택으로 시온을 선대하시고 예루살렘의 성을 쌓으소서.)

Then there will be righteous sacrifices, whole burnt offerings to delight you； then bulls will be offered on your altar.
(그때에 주께서 의로운 제사와 온전한 번제를 기뻐하시리니 그때에 수소들이 주의 제단 위에 드려지리이다.)
