The Traits of the Evil
(악인의 특성)
Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint； protect my life from the threat of the enemy.
(내가 탄원을 드릴 때에, 오 하나님, 내 소리를 들어 주소서. 원수의 위협으로부터 내 생명을 지켜 주소서.)
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from that noisy crowd of evildoers.
(악인들의 음모와 악을 행하는 자들의 떠드는 무리로부터 나를 숨겨 주소서.)
They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their words like deadly arrows.
(그들은 자기 혀를 칼같이 날카롭게 갈고, 독한 말을 치명적인 화살처럼 겨눕니다.)
They shoot from ambush at the innocent man； they shoot at him suddenly, without fear.
(그들은 숨어서 죄 없는 사람을 향해 쏘며, 갑자기 거리낌 없이 그를 공격합니다.)
They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares； they say, “Who will see them?”
(그들은 악한 계획을 서로 격려하며, 올무를 숨기는 일을 의논하면서 말하기를, “누가 그것을 보겠는가?”라고 합니다.)
They plot injustice and say, “We have devised a perfect plan!” Surely the mind and heart of man are cunning.
(그들은 불의를 꾀하며 말하기를, “우리가 완전한 계략을 세웠다!”라고 합니다. 참으로 사람의 마음과 생각은 교활합니다.)
But God will shoot them with arrows； suddenly they will be struck down.
(그러나 하나님께서 그들을 향하여 화살을 쏘실 것이니, 그들이 갑자기 상하게 될 것입니다.)
He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin； all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
(하나님께서 그들의 혀가 도리어 그들 자신을 치게 하시므로 그들을 멸망하게 하실 것입니다. 그들을 보는 모든 사람이 비웃으며 머리를 흔들 것입니다.)
All mankind will fear； they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done.
(모든 사람이 두려워할 것이며, 하나님의 행하신 일을 선포하고 그가 이루신 일을 깊이 생각할 것입니다.)
Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him； let all the upright in heart praise him!
(의인은 여호와 안에서 기뻐하며 그를 피난처로 삼을 것이요, 마음이 정직한 자는 모두 그를 찬양할 것입니다.)
