Proverbs about God
(하나님에 대한 잠언)
To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue.
(마음의 계획은 사람에게 속해있고, 입의 답변은 여호와로부터 나오느니라.)
All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD.
(모든 사람의 길은 그에게 결백해 보이나, 행동의 동기는 여호와에 의해 저울질 되느니라.)
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
(네가 무엇을 하든지 여호와게 맡겨라, 그러면 너의 계획이 성공할 것이라.)
The LORD works out everything for his own ends - even the wicked for a day of disaster.
(여호와는 그의 목적대로 모든 것을 계획하시나니, 심지어 악인들도 재앙의 날을 위해 계획하시느니라.)
The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.
(여호와는 교만한 마음을 미워하시느니라. 이를 확신하라, 그들은 처벌을 면치못할 것이라.)
Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for； through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil.
(사랑과 진실함을 통해 죄가 속하여지고, 여호와를 두려워함을 통해서 사람이 악을 피하느니라.)
When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.
(사람의 길이 여호와께 기쁠 때에, 그는 심지어 그의 적들로 하여금 그와 평화롭게 살게 하느니라.)
Better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice.
(의롭게 가난한 자가 되는 것이 불의하게 많을 것을 얻는 것보다 나으니라.)
In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
(그의 마음 속에 사람이 그의 길을 계획을 하나, 여호와는 그의 걸음을 결정하시느니라.)
